The Government established Center for Investment Assistance |

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, with its decree of 2 August, set up the Ukrainian Center of Assisting Foreign Investments.
According to the document, the center was set up for providing the activities of foreign investors with informational-analytical, methodical, organizations,
and other support. The main tasks are:to form a positive investment image of Ukraine, to assist attracting foreign investments, to stimulate the activities of investors,etc. In addition, the government set up the Supervisory

Short-term project on regional development |

Ministry of international development of the UK approved off financing of a short-term program on regional development support in Ukraine. More generally this program is a reply to Ukraine attempting to increase the level of harmonization of state policy, particularly in regional development, with the practices and standards of the EU. |
